Abstract
This research aims to analyze several children’s utterances using a theory by Halili and Zahroh. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data were 2 teaching experiences and 12 children’s utterances from a private course. The data were analyzed using Bogdan (2017) in several steps. The research object in this research is teaching experience and children in a private course. There are 14 data points found in this research. Based on them, 2 ADHD children are acquiring English as a foreign language. The children could speak well compared to other students without ADHD. From this research, it can be concluded that ADHD students could acquire second language, even if they have ADHD symptoms.
