Abstract

This term paper discusses about the reflection of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs in Frank Lampard’s characters to be a multi-millionaire footballer. Firstly, the study analyses the plot of Frank Lampard’s personal life. Subsequently, the characters of Frank Lampard are analysed. Thus, there is relation between the characters of Frank Lampard and being a multi-millionaire footballer. This study uses both intrinsic and extrinsic approaches. The intrinsic approach applies plot to analyse Frank Lampard’s personal life, and characterisation through action and setting as a means of revealing character to analyse Frank Lampard’s characters. Moreover, the extrinsic approach applies Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as psychological concept. Furthermore, this study is a qualitative range of research, types of literature research that analyses with method of data collection in the form of autobiography of Frank Lampard as the primary source and supported by some literature study sources related to the concept and theories.
